Copyright to Music

After reading this article I did not realize all the complications of using a song in anything such as a project or just if it's playing in your restaurant or even an elevator. Now I understand why they do play such cruddy music, because it costs A LOT of money to play good music! I recently made a scholarship video for my friend and we couldn't even use the music that is already on iMovie for it. I've also made YouTube videos that have popular music on them so hopefully I won't get in trouble for that and I'm definitely going to be more careful in the future.
